I really have no need to risk my 10-year service, level 30 Steam Account for a £20 Asiimov, I already have a £500+ inventory. This says that I have scammed an M4A4 Asiimov (£20) and if people report my profile he will do a give away of a Glock Fade or a Knife. I just could not believe this was even happening…

While on my hunt I got a message from a friend saying he had seen a message involving my account. So I found 4 of his accounts (one was trade banned the day after it happened, but now on probation and another has just been trade banned - yesterday) I thought if I could find some more info on this guy I might have a chance in getting my stuff back, or some justice and maybe a stronger case for my steam ticket. I then put my thinking cap on, sent Steam a support ticket, posted on steam rep. I don’t have chat logs, but a guy who got scammed has got the same chat. He continued the same scam/post for the next 2 days. I HAD BEEN SCAMMED (for my 1st and last time) Turns out the ticket was £1.39, and all people selling them are the same guy, the same guy also with the Karambit Fade. One guy said my Karambit + Howl for this ticket which I clearly thought I was winning, like “my time has come for a karambit fade, YES!”.Īs soon as I traded my items both accounts went off line and also blocked me. I REALLY have no clue about the Dota market and that was my mistake. They were all a little rude but I thought this Dota ticket was worth some value and all I had in my head was a kara fade. So foolishly I went ahead and added a couple of the guys selling the ticket and asked them what they wanted for it. but he said he has been trying to get this ticket for a while but still cant add funds. I asked him why he wanted the ticket and how could I trust him etc. I asked him what the item was, he said a Dota ticket and linked me to the market, there where 5 for sale starting at £200. He said I don’t play CSGO, I opened the knife in a case… I only play Dota 2 and want a Dota item and if I had one/could get hold of one for him he would happily trade the Karambit Fade. So I added him via steam and asked what he wanted to trade it for. I added a random guy on CSGOLounge posting a trade for a Karambit Fade for CSGO Cases and a comment saying “JUST ADD ME”. This is my first post on Reddit (frequent reader) and I hope it’s in the right place.Īround 2 weeks ago I got scammed for my Karambit Vanilla & M4A4 Howl FT. But I now need help in what I can do next.
